Dr. Cole received her medical degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa and completed her residency and fellowship training at Florida Hospital. As part of her role as director of Florida Hospital's Geriatric Fellowship Program, Dr. Cole supervises medical students, residents, and geriatric fellows in the care of elderly patients in the hospital, outpatient clinics, nursing homes, and home visits. She oversees the Geriatric Centre of Excellence within Centre for Family Medicine where elder patients and their caregivers meet with an interdisciplinary team to evaluate their medical, functional and psychosocial status.
Dr. Cole is the Clerkship Director for Geriatrics at the Florida State University (FSU) College of Medicine, Orlando campus. Dr. Cole is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Geriatrics Society, and the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine with a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Geriatric Medicine. Her expertise is in dementia, polypharmacy, nursing home care and geriatric syndromes.
Dr. Dumois received his medical degree at the University of Santo Domingo and completed his residency at the Western Reserve Care System in Ohio. He is board certified in family medicine has been with Florida Hospital since 2006. He has a special interest in smoking cessation, diabetes, sports medicine and weight loss, and he was acknowledged as Faculty of the Year in 2006-2007.
Dr. Alexander Fishberg is the Medical Director of Florida Hospital Family Health Center. He received his medical degree at University of South Florida and completed his residency at Hinsdale Hospital near Chicago. He has been with Florida Hospital since 2006 and has a special interest in gastroenterology and obstetrics.
Dr. John Fleming received his medical degree at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics. Prior to becoming a faculty physician for the Florida Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program 1993, Dr. Fleming was in private practice in Winter Park 25 years. He previously served as the Medical Staff President at Winter Park Memorial Hospital and is currently the Medical Director at Mayflower Retirement Community.
Dr. Serena Gui completed her PhD in Counseling Psychology from Andrews University in 1984. She joined Florida Hospital Family Medicine Residency in 1997 and is the Associate Director of Behavior Medicine. Prior to coming to Florida Hospital, Dr. Gui was in private practice as well as teaching graduate psychology students in the Metro Atlanta area. Her clinical experiences include working in private Christian psychiatric hospitals in Michigan and Pennsylvania for more than 10 years. Her interest is in adult mental health especially women's issues. She loves incorporating group modality into medical visits in the management of chronic illnesses and prevention of diseases. She is a strong proponent of the whole-person approach to patient care.
Dr. George Guthrie received his medical degree from Loma Linda University in 1981 and completed his residency at Hinsdale Hospital near Chicago. He has a certification from the Certification Board of Nutrition Specialists (CBNS), is a Certified Diabetic Educator (CDE) and has a special interest in the lifestyle treatment of Type 2 Diabetes, Hypertension, Obesity, and Coronary Heart Disease. He also obtained a Masters of Public Health degree with a focus on nutrition and joined the faculty of the School of Public Health and the School of Medicine at Loma Linda University.
Dr. Guthrie joined the faculty of the Florida Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program in 2007 where he continues to focus on community and lifestyle medicine. He has been involved in the development of several lifestyle change programs including the Coronary Health Improvement Project (CHIP), the Wellspring Diabetes Program, and the CREATION Health program. With his expertise in lifestyle medicine, Dr. Guthrie has had various speaking engagements around the world, and in 2008, he hosted a television series, Your Life and Health.
Dr. Jennifer Keehbauch serves as the Director of the Florida Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program. After completing her residency at Florida Hospital in 1999, she joined the residency as a faculty member. Dr. Keehbauch received her medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine. She then served in the US Air Force as a General Medical Officer.
Dr Keehbauch's clinical interests are in women's health. She has researched and published in this area for more than 10 years. Dr Keehbauch's other research interests include pediatric obesity and electronic medical records. Dr. Keehbauch is also the founder and medical director of the Community After Hours Clinic for the Uninsured. She was also recently interviewed by John King with CNN regarding the medically underserved. Dr. Keehbauch was selected as the Florida Academy of Family Physicians 2007 Family Physician of the Year.
Dr. David Koo received his medical degree at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He is board certified in Family Medicine. Prior to becoming a faculty physician for the Florida Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program, Dr. Koo was in private practice in Ohio for 11 years. He loves taking care of both children and adults. His area of interest is in the treatment of diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol.
Dr. Ernestine Lee received her medical degree and master of public health from the University of South Florida, and completed residency training at the University of Florida, Gainesville. While a resident, Dr. Lee served as chief resident, received the Society of Teaching Scholars Resident Teacher Award, as well as Resident of the Year. After three years in private practice, Dr. Lee Joined the family medicine faculty in 2010. Her areas of interest include practice management, women's health, diabetes prevention, adolescent health, and medical student education.
Dr. Eddie Needham is the Program Director for the Florida Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program. Originally trained as an industrial engineer at GA TECH, he went on to graduate from medical school at Emory. After finishing a residency in Family Practice at Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii, he served an additional four years in the US Army at Fort Benning, GA. He returned to Emory as faculty and advanced to Program Director for eight years. He received the degree of Fellow, American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) while at Emory.
He has won numerous teaching awards to include the AAFP's Parke-Davis Teaching Award in 1996 and the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians (GAFP) Teacher of the Year Award in 2007. He has published in the American Family Physician and continues to practice full service Family Medicine. He has taught at the AAFP's Annual Scientific Assembly as well as numerous engagements with the GAFP. It is his joy and passion to teach students of medicine the wonders of the human body and spirit. He loves his wife of 23 years, his five children, the rigors of triathlons, the wonder and surprise of fishing, and mountain top experiences with friends.
Dr. Robert Quigley attended Loma Linda University School of Medicine, where he also completed his Residency in Pediatrics. He was in private practice for eight years before joining the faculty of the Florida Hospital Family Medicine Residency in 1986 in the area of academic pediatrics. Dr. Quigley cares for newborns, children and adolescents, both in the hospital and in the office. His special area of interest is preventive health care for children and families, with the goal of his patients achieving optimal health and longevity. He is board certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr Quigley has been selected as one of the Best Doctors in Orlando 2004-2010 in the Orlando Magazine.
Dr. Sabiha Siddiqui attended Gandhi Medical College for medical school and completed her residency at the Orlando Regional Medical Center. Dr. Siddiqui is board certified in pediatrics and has a special interest working in pediatrics with newborns, infants, children and adolescents. She has been a part of the Florida Hospital family since 1980 as a full time faculty in the Family Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Siddiqui has been mentioned as one of the best pediatricians for the last three years in Orlando Magazine.
Dr. Robert Vandervoort received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Florida in 1995, and following that he completed a Primary Care Pharmacy Practice Residency at the Florida Hospital Family Health Center. His professional interests include diabetes, anticoagulation, and lipid management. He is an avid fan of the Florida Gators and trains in Brazilian jiu-jitsu when not chasing around his two children, ages 3 and 5.
Dr. Scott Warner attended medical school at Michigan State University and attended law school at the University of Florida. He is board certified as a Family Practitioner and has been with Florida Hospital since 1997. He has a special interest in legal medicine and received the honor Best Doctors from Orlando Magazine from 2005-2009.
Dr. Mina Zeini Graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Biochemistry and then a Medical Doctorate from the University of Florida in 2001. She subsequently finished her Family Medicine Residency at Florida Hospital Family Residency Program in 2004, and then pursued further subspecialty Geriatric training by completing her Fellowship in 2006, also at Florida Hospital. Dr. Zeini is triple Board Certified in Family Medicine, Geriatrics and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Dr. Zeini enjoys taking care of the elderly in all settings and has a special passion for end of life care. She enjoys the outdoors, spending time with her family and focusing on her spirituality.
